School Closure Resources

Updated: 2 days ago

Hi everyone, our school SENO Nuala McDonnell shared the following resource with us today.

Download here.

On the last page of this PDF document you will find a hyperlink that says ‘Click here for online resources.’ Here you will find a list of activities and resources that you can do with your son if you wish. The first 18 pages of the pdf is a great resource that may support any of our parents that have children with Autism during the school closure.

She also directed us to this link https://ncse.ie/online-resources-for-parents.

Here you will find tips for primary school aged children and additional resources for Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language. I hope you find them helpful.

Hello to all the boys in Inis Free. I hope that you and your families are all safe and well. I hope that you are being very sensible and continuing to wash your hands carefully, to cough or sneeze into your elbow and when you are out and about I hope that you remember to keep about 2 metres away from other people. This is called 'social distancing'. Don't forget it is important to get some fresh air and exercise too. We have very strong runners in our class so perhaps you could try to do the 'Daily Mile' around your garden! If it's a rainy day why not log on to Go Noodle and try out one of the fun activities there. Next week I will be sending on some homework and I would be delighted if you try your best to do it. You don't have to do it all at once. It is better to perhaps do it day by day. Luke and I miss you very much and we hope to see you soon. Ms Flannery.
