The boys in 2nd class went on a maths trail through The Glen last week for Maths Week. As we were learning about money and the value of coins in class, the maths trail finished at the local shop where the boys were given the opportunity to use coins to buy an item in the shop, discovering how much the item cost and working out how much change they would get. The boys really enjoyed the trail and learnt how maths is a big part of our everyday lives!
