The boys of St Marks put on an excellent Concert today. 2nd class to 6th all performed recorder as class groups and individually; Jimmy's drumming boys performed a few pieces and accompanied a few class performances. Mrs McCarthy's school choir also performed and were wonderful.
It was a fantastic chance for the boys to perform in front of the school and their parents. Well done to all the boys but especially Mrs McCarthy. She had been teaching all the classes recorder and taking the school choir every week. Thank you so much. It couldn't have happened without you. Mag's dream of a school orchestra might be realised in a few short years
