This week the boys in 1st class were reminiscing on their time in their classroom this year, talking with their friends and jotting down their many happy memories of school! They each made flip books to keep and to look at in many years to come!
Pharaohs , Pyramids , Mummies ... Egypt has it all ! The boys in 1st class explored Ancient Egypt this week. They wrote their names in hieroglyphics, learned how important the pharaohs were and how the River Nile is the longest River in the world!
Junior Infants were investigating how a flower drinks it’s water. Did you know that the stem is just like a straw that’s drinks the water to help the flower to grow ? We watched the petals change colour to match the food dye in the test tube!
2nd and 3rd class invited parents and family members into their classroom this week to play some board games 🎲🏓 the boys had great fun playing games such as Guess Who, Connect 4 and Jenga! A great afternoon was had by all 🤗
Junior infants took a beautiful stroll in the outdoors today looking for the signs of Spring ! 🌈🌱We make sure that all our flowers have plenty of water and take care of the plants and trees in our school garden!
